Today we experienced a historic day in Washington DC with the eclipse of April 4, 2024. The city was filled with excitement and expectation for this unique astronomical phenomenon.
But what made this event even more notable was the presence of NASA with an inclusive stand in the middle of the other stands. In this space, we were able to learn about the universe, the stars and everything related to this eclipse in an inclusive and accessible way for everyone.
From there, we were able to take the most impressive photos and videos of the eclipse, capturing every moment of this incredible experience. It was a day full of magic, science and fun, where we were able to enjoy the eclipse in a unique and educational way thanks to the presence of NASA.

October 21, 2023 is the inauguration of the new women's museum in Washington DC. Lesbians writing have a special space within the movie theater, an exponent of the GUERRILLERAS GIRLS documentary. There are also LGBTQ+ books in their bookstore and store. 6 Levels of WOMEN'S ART in reclaimed facilities where glamor and elegance empower international, national and local women's exhibitions. Just 3 blocks from the White House, Women in all their diversities are present.
ALL THE WATERS (Pseudonym with which I signed the Performance of INCLUSIVE Poems, from 2021 in Europe and America to the present 2023) COMICS is also PRESENT with ALL THE WATERS and the COMICS or 9th Art (Art in COMICS INCLUSIVE THE CALLIGRAM SERIES Poems Performance from 2021 in Europe and America to the present 2023). I am already participating in the LGBTQ+ competition, at the Tennessee Williams State and New Orleans Literary Festival 2023-2024. Two Poems in English are already received, the winner will be announced in January 2024.
Our poetry winner will be selected from submissions of original unpublished poems by LGBTQ+ writers on the general theme of TRANSFORMATION. This contest would not be possible without support from Scovern Law Firm. Is Chen Chen who will serve as this year’s judge.

In response to the emerging weather catastrophe severely impacting outdoor air quality in the DC metropolitan area, our organizing team has reached consensus to postpone the 30th Anniversary DC Dyke March until next Friday, June 16 at 6:30 p. m. This decision is based on our community principles and agreements to protect the health and safety of ALL members of our community, including our Mother Earth.
We need the active support of our community members to ensure this late-stage postponement goes as smoothly as possible. To contribute to this effort, please contact us so that we can assign tasks corresponding to the needs that arise from this abrupt change in plans.

- To celebrate National Poetry Month here at the Chevy Chase library, we held a Haiku contest for poets of all ages!
Haiku is a form of poetry that began in Japan. Haiku uses the senses to describe scenes from nature and often involves vivid images of trees, plants, seasons, and other elements of the natural world. Sometimes, poems have very specific " rules " for how to create them. Haikus are poems that are three line longs, and each line has a certain number of syllables. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables. That' s 17 syllables overall!
Like all poetry, even though Haiku follows specific syllabic rules, lots of writers find great ways to make it their own.
