"One Earth 2026" Environmental activism: Honorable Mention 2026 for the team of authors.UNA SOLA TIERRA, is a celebration of planetary protection through inclusion. The featured author, Celia San Felipe—an internationally recognized environmental activist since 2012—writes and publishes her reflections and works on the environment across digital platforms, books, and other media outlets in the Americas and Europe .
One of their posts about the environment in New York, created from Galicia, received a "corner ribbon" (a diagonal band crossing the corner of the post) from the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao2021.
Celia San Felipe extends her environmental action art—through photography and exhibitions—to both major events in Washington, D.C., and activities dedicated to environmental advocacy. For this initiative, Scriba NYC demonstrates its commitment to "artivism for the planet" by featuring the participation of 101 poets from 20 countries .
In 2024, continuing her involvement in international, inclusive "artivism"—this time *against* racism, xenophobia, and aporophobia—Celia San Felipe had her work published by SCRIBA NYC (USA) in the book titled CRISOL de ALMAS.
The project brought together 97 poets from 23 countries across the Americas and Europe—including both established and emerging authors from diverse backgrounds—presenting 267 poems from around the world and voices raised AGAINST racism, xenophobia, and aporophobia.
This team of authors received a third award at the 2025 International Latino Book Awards, held in California (USA).
On page 31 of the anthology, Celia San Felipe highlights trans issues, cis-sexism, and tokenism, among other perspectives on reality from Washington, D.C.
In 2023, this inclusive international "artivism" contest against femicide saw SCRIBA NYC (USA) publish the work of inclusive anthology contributor Celia San Felipe in a book titled Vivas las queremos.
The project brought together 90 poets—ranging from established to emerging and diverse backgrounds—from 20 countries, featuring 245 poems from around the world speaking out against femicide.
This work marks the second award for the team of authors at the 2019 International Latino Book Awards, held in California, United States.
In her poem for this anthology, Celia San Felipe highlights themes such as legal abortion, the LGBTQ community, inclusion, secularism, equity, education, diversity, Ukraine, medicine, healthcare, the homeless, and women.
2017 marks the third SCRIBA NYC USA international inclusive competition, featuring poems by the inclusive, anthologized author Celia San Felipe alongside 145 diverse poems from 13 countries across the Americas and Europe.
This work represents an 2019 award-winning entry in the International Latino Book Awards (California, USA).
In this collection, Celia San Felipe’s use of the pronoun *ELLAS* (referring to women) in the title "A ELLAS" serves as a poetic "dyke" call to action celebrating same-sex love.
In 2018, we see a reflection of Celia San Felipe’s 2016 book of lesbian poetry; some described it as "bedroom poetry," while others characterized it as poetry about love between women. It was written during the time she spent by the waters of the Río Dulce—in the Izabal department of Guatemala—where the river meets the Caribbean Sea.
In 2019, Celia San Felipe’s work titled "BIENVENIDA" was installed at the heart of the LGBTQ+ community—Stonewall in Manhattan, New York—where it remained for two years. Through a collaboration with Scriba NYC and its Carey Collection, San Felipe created this poetic piece featuring rainbow-colored lettering. The work traveled to iconic locations and marked a turning point in documenting and archiving the career of this lesbian author; in December 2019, the anthology *Di lo que quieres decir 2019* was accepted into the collection by its recipients, Joan Nestle and Deborah Edelen, founders of the Lesbian Herstory Archives in Brooklyn, New York.
2020 is the Chinese Year of the Rat, and this poem explores the theme of homosexuality in the animal kingdom through verse written from Manhattan, New York.
Celia San Felipe’s work, titled *AGUA*, is included in this anthology published by Scriba NYC as part of its Carey collection—*Di lo que quieres decir 2020* (Say What You Mean 2020)—which brings together 179 poems representing 21 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
2021: #MeToo in "artivist" poetry—poetry of protest and struggle! This poem joins the global social movement seeking to raise awareness, denounce, and put an end to sexual harassment and assault. It is titled "Harassment."
Celia San Felipe joined this book features contributions from 21 countries across the Americas and Europe, comprising 180 selected poems.
In 2022, Celia San Felipe created the poem "LAWYERS"; this work pays tribute—from a human rights perspective—to the immigration lawyers who represented her. The anthology brings together 185 poems and spans 19 countries across the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
In 2023, the *Carey Scriba NYC* collection, in collaboration with Celia San Felipe, was installed at the Carlos Rosario School library in Washington, D.C. Celia San Felipe’s work on inclusion in sports was also published in the Washington, D.C.-based magazine *In Our Own Words*; titled "IN STARS," the piece appears alongside 172 poems from 20 countries across the Americas and Europe.
In 2024, Scriba NYC published this work amidst a surge of interest in feminist policies and the presidential stances of political parties across the region. These female political leaders inspired author Celia San Felipe to highlight and champion the aspiration of women holding political power—an inspiration reflected in the title of the piece: "PODER" (Power). It is part of a selection of 155 diverse poems from 21 countries across the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
In 2025, the inclusive anthology from SCRIBA NYC USA featured poems by author Celia San Felipe; alongside a diverse group of poets contributing 147 poems from 21 countries across the Americas and Europe, they expressed their voices—and Celia San Felipe introduced the concept of DEI GLOBAL.
The term DEI serves as an LGBTQ+ signature and hallmark, celebrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
The year 2026 marks nearly a decade of:

In 2026—marking nearly ten years of publishing anthologies with the Scriba NYC team—we celebrate the friendship and family bonds formed through the work we have built together with editor Patricia Schaefer Roder.
Inclusive, anthologized author Celia San Felipe greets us from "The Balcony" (*El Balcón*)—a tribute to Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (the inspiring Muse of this poem); you can read her work among 136 diverse poems hailing from 21 countries across the Americas and Europe.
This piece is part of a work titled "BALCÓN"—a term deeply rooted in the spirit of Buenos Aires (*porteño* and *bonaerense*) and highly relevant to the defense of political causes. It refers to the specific address in the Constitución neighborhood of Buenos Aires where former Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner famously steps out onto the balcony.
It represents a poetic call to action from someone who played a significant role in shaping the LGBTQ community in Buenos Aires.
